Ingredients  

500g Okara 

1 medium onion finely chopped

2 medium potatoes diced

3 tbsp oil 

1 tbsp crushed ginger 

1/2 tbsp crushed garlic 

1/2 tsp turmeric 

1/2 tsp crushed green chillies 

1/2 tsp of chilli powder 

1 1/2 tsp cumin coriander powder (1 tsp Cumin/1/2 Coriander)

1/2 tbsp garam masala 

1/2 tsp mustard seeds. 

Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime

Method

Wash and dry Okara chopped in small pieces

Heat the frying pan on medium heat 

add oil in - heat up and add mustard seeds 

when they have popped put onions in, cook for three to four minutes 

add potatoes and cook for further three to four minutes 

while it’s cooking don’t cover 

add garlic, ginger and spices, mix it well, cook for few minutes and add Okara 

mix it well and cover with the lid  

stirring every five minutes or so until it’s cooked 

when it’s cooked add half lemon juice and stir well 

cook without lid for further five minutes
